Living Wage Policy
Effective July 1, 2025, the minimum living wage for employees will be $28.27 per hour.
In 2019, the Valley Water Board of Directors approved a revised Living Wage Policy for new janitorial and security contracts. The policy applies to contracts starting after August 27, 2019, and requires that workers be paid at or above the living wage rate and receive health benefits. The Living Wage Policy was last updated on July 2, 2025.
