Current job openings (also open to current employees)
Valley Water takes into consideration Military veterans’ transferrable skills and abilities. Veteran applicants who meet minimum job requirements and have submitted a copy of their DD214 form, and received a discharge of other than dishonorable, from the armed forces showing service in any branch of the United States military will be given a preferential consideration at the initial stage of the hiring process. As long as the applicants meet both requirements, they will be included in the first interview step of the hiring process.
Veterans Awareness Group
To show our commitment and support our Veterans workforce, we have created the Veterans Awareness Employee Resource Group.
The Group provides support to and identifies challenges and family members. It also show cases Veteran employees and their value to the workforce through their professional work ethic, values, and training. The group serves as a resource and provides recommendations to Valley Water units on matters concerning Veterans.
The Veterans Awareness Resource Group is open to all Veteran employees, family members of Veterans, and those wanting to show support.
